Global Recloser Solutions

Research and Development

Our Research & Development department drives the technology that keeps our medium voltage overhead solutions at the leading edge of international standards.

The team has the dual role of customising solutions to meet customers' specific needs and also extending the boundaries of possibility with practical innovations for the future.

The department brings together highly-skilled professionals in the fields of electrical, mechanical, software and electronics engineering. Using state-of-the-art design, analysis and testing, the team ensures all Nu-Lec solutions reach uncompromising standards in every aspect of their operation.

Where new technology is evolving for more sophisticated computer control or more durable materials or mechanisms, this is fully tested and integrated into new product development, always keeping in mind the goals of ease of use, quality and reliability.

Our R&D operations also benefit from the worldwide resources of our parent company, Schneider Electric.

The team welcomes the challenge of working with customers to tailor solutions for their needs and has project management procedures in place to ensure the right solution at the right time.
